Unscrupulous thieves have sent you this email and they are trying to part you from your hard earned cash. They will often ask you to call a premium rate number and keep you holding on whilst you rack up a huge phone bill. They are then paid a large proportion of this phone bill. They may ask you to divulge personal information about yourself or ask for your bank or credit card details. Do not divulge any such information under any circumstances. It is surprising how many innocent victims have been duped by these types of emails. Please remember the thieves who send them are very clever and extremely convincing. I suggest you delete the email and send it into cyberspace.

Reply:That message is both a fake and an outright fraud. Don't give the phishers any of your personal information at all. Spam that scam message straight into oblivion right away. This is one lottery you'll never win because it's "bogus."
Another thing, the phishers telling you to "keep this lottery information confidential" would indicate to you not to say anything about this to anybody until they have finished scamming you.
Reply:Did this email say you won through random email selection and only 5 are chosen a month? Did they want your mailing address and a copy of the winning numbers attached?
Reply:sounds like a scam!
What the hell is 820,000lb anyway? The British currency is the 拢.
Reply:Are you kidding me??? Of course it's a scam, why do you even OPEN those?? They wire it to you and then they have your bank account numbers. Tell them you want it mailed to you, in a box, if they can't afford the postage then they can take it out of your winnings. If they wont do that then honey, let it go.

I'm sorry you are such a wuss, should have known by the company you hang with. Now I told you to leave me alone.I sugest you take that advice. It only gets worse from here.Don't ever contact me again with your nonsense and maybe I'll let this pass. However don't count on it little punk.
i feel its a threat. i'm sure yahoo will as well.
Would you percieve this email as a threat?
Yes it is clearly a threat. Expect to get a LOT of violation reports from this person who probably has multiple accounts.
Reply:lol - The words 'wuss' and 'punk' tell me I've gotten some emails from this same character just recently. I just deleted them. I couldn't even remember his name. So much for the impression he made upon me.
You should do the same thing.
Hey, is this the guy who has no email link through Answers, gives out his email address and ask that you respond directly through your own email. If so, DO NOT do that.
Reply:I 've had so many from him I ignore them hes got some yank with yahoo, but yes its a threat, and considering hes not in the us unless yahoo does something what can you do
Reply:A threat? Not much he can do from Belgium, is there?
Geeze, two days ago, the two of you were all buddies and stuff. What happened? You try to share YOUR polical pov?
Reply:A LOT of people do not act in a mature way on this site. It is not a nice email but I would ignore it for now.
Reply:Freedom of expression is always there! But why should you be afraid if you are not guilty?
Reply:probubly.
but i think the guys an idiot as well, so do as you will.
Reply:Yeah...Some people just can't handle the opposition...They resort to this hatemail...makes 'em feel big and manly...Either say it out in the open or shut up about it but don't hide behind hatemail...
Reply:HEHEHE! Who did YOU piss off??? That's FUNNY!
I remember that name.....I thought he got booted....
Reply:By itself, that email isn't threatening to me. He can tell you to leave him alone, and he can add to that conditions, such as, or "else".
Now, if it's obvious, through a pattern of communications that "or else" is violence, well then it'd be a threat. But by itself, it's nothing, other than someone telling you to leave them alone.

How to make a document in Adobe Indesign cs3, and email it to people as a HTML document? Is this possible?
I am designing a newsletter using Adobe Indesign cs3. I am trying to email this newsletter to people in HTML format. How do I do that? Or is there another format I can convert it to (other than PDF) that EVERYONE I send it to will be able to open and read?
How to make a document in Adobe Indesign cs3, and email it to people as a HTML document? Is this possible?
Html might work, but I don't understand why you don't want to export to PDF and send it that way, since it is essentially a universal format that anyone can open and read, either with Adobe Acrobat Reader, which is a free download, or various other options (such as Preview on the Mac.) The only other possibility might be .rtf (rich text format) but I don't think ID does this, or if it does, you won't preserve all the formatting you've done. PDF really is the best way to go.
Reply:The closest InDesign can do is export your content as XML. From there it can be converted to html with Dreamweaver, Coda or whatever you prefer to edit HTML with.
I haven't tried it myself, but what you're trying to do is one of the features in InDesign's newest version.
Reply:most people should have pdf viewer installed, you can export as jpegs but other than that there is no way, unless you imported the pdf into flash and made a booklet.

Somebody made a fake email using my name and now they are instant messaging me. How do i find out who this is?
I am being severly cyber-harrassed in more ways than this I think im dealing with a serious hacker here. How do I find out whose email this is. I tried the reverse email lookup but it only give the ip and asks you to pay for any extra information which I think would be useless because this person would not use his/her information to make me a fake email.

Try contacting the website administrators of the websites you've been harassed on. Report that someone has been doing this to you, in detail and ask them for any help.
Reply:It's probably just one of your friends messing around with you. I highly doubt its a serious hacker.

How do you get to another email address. this would be a second one its set up but dont know how to get to it?
I have the pass word just dont know how to get to the email to acsses it
How do you get to another email address. this would be a second one its set up but dont know how to get to it?
Well if its just another free Yahoo account then you can only be signed into one at a time on your computer.
SO, in order to access a second account you would need to first click on SIGN OUT from your account - then SIGN IN using the user ID and password from the second account you created.
Reply:you just act like you don't have one and check register and make up a new one. I have three. Yahoo will know it so make sure you arrange your options the way you want for each yahoo account.

I am applying for jobs by email in the middle of the night. Does this create a bad impression?
People will see the time the email was sent. Will they think I'm a freak or alcoholic or desparate if the time is overnight? And so not offer me an interview?
I am applying for jobs by email in the middle of the night. Does this create a bad impression?
No it proves you are up and willing to work ant hours unlike some people who just apply 9 till 5
Reply:makes you look keen
Reply:Yes, I was thinking that too once, I usually don't send them after 10pm :-) Just prepare the eMail, save it in the draft folder and send it early in the morning.
Reply:No, it won't affect your ability to get an interview. Employers know that people search for jobs and apply on-line when they are at home or in their off hours.
Reply:when I was working in recruitment, I was thinking what has he been doing on the pc at 2am. But to be honest the large amount of CVs you dont even notice that... and it's the CV that matters.
What I would think it means is either they are really keen, or work all day and look for a job all night, or just really love their PC.
It's not bad after all, so chill out and good luck with job hunting!
Reply:Don't worry about the time of day. Very seldom does an HR department look at the hour and minutes. Or for that matter, the resume itself. However, whatever you do, run a Spell Check which will catch such errors as the above "desparate".
Good luck.
Reply:I often thought that but I don't think they will notice the time as sometimes it doesn't get seen by the interviewer.
You go for it and get yourself a good job, I like your enthusiasm
