Dose yahoo have a email to forward an email and they will donate 2.00 per email is this a scam?

This would be a scam to collect valid email addresses (yours) to sell as a spam list.
Dose yahoo have a email to forward an email and they will donate 2.00 per email is this a scam?
Of course. It's a phishing expedition.

Is This A Valid Email Address For NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell?

I found this email address on the net and sent an email to it. Has anyone else here emailed the same addy and gotten a response?

Roger.Goodell2@nfl.net
Is This A Valid Email Address For NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell?
I honestly don't know. However, emails never have spaces in them like yours does.

I always figured it would be something like rog@patriots.com
meet people

What is the complete name of the user of this email address [kch30sb@yahoo.com]?

Probably a girl in the Disctrict of Columbia
What is the complete name of the user of this email address [kch30sb@yahoo.com]?

Go to "Options" on the right side of your email page

What do you think of this email i got?

I've had a couple of these emails but the last one say this is the final notice. Its from the british international lottery saying congratulations you've won some money, it tell me how i've won it, its got reference numbers, to claim it i have to contact a claims representative by a link they have left

Here's the thing i have to leave my full name, DOB, marital status, contact address, country, phone number and occupation

then it goes on about my security and if i get any other lottery notification report them to another link they left me.

I know it crap but i cant help being temped it looks and sounds good.
What do you think of this email i got?
Firstly, there is no british international lottery.

Secondly, how can you win money in a lottery you didn't buy a ticket for?!

It is in reality an attempt at identity fraud, which is why they have asked you all this personal information. They need it to be able to get credit in your name and then you get the debt.

Giving these details is the same as giving your pin number and credit card details. If you do it, you are responsible for the debt with whoever they borrow the money from, as you willingly gave the information away and are therefore not protected financially in any way.

The bailiffs even have your home address and phone number to tell you that they are coming to take your possessions away to pay for the debt.

Out of interest, this type of scam has a 1% success rate.
Reply:all I'll say is dont quit your day job chick, you have'nt won anything and as you say you know it's a load of old rubbish, they are phishing for more info from you, do not do this, ignore and delete.
Reply:Its SPAM. Ignore it. Please ignore it!
Reply:sorry but if u awnser it ur stupid cause that right there is idintity fraud there trying to get that importan info u find out where u live get all ur info so they can pretend to be u so for ur sake dont do it cause its first a lie and second off going to screw u
Reply:A scam, just like you suspected. That is how they get many people scammed, by using human nature's feeling of greed.
Reply:dont do it may be filed with a virus or trying to still ur identy
Reply:with just those details that they want you to give. I could go an get credit and whatever else in your name in another country.

Stay away from it.
Reply:Spam,,,Delete,,,,
Reply:Leave well alone! If you didn't enter the lottery yourself, you're not going to win it, are you? This is one huge scam - you're asked to give all your personal details so that they can be used for identity theft. In Britian, if you have a winning lottery ticket, you have to ring up Camelot (the organizers) to verify your win - they don't contact you. The fact that this unscrupulous spammer wants you to leave as many personal details as possible should be ringing huge bells with you, warning you to ignore this!
Reply:If it sounds too good to be true ,it probably is'nt
Reply:Its a scam like the emails I get from suppsoedly millionaires who are doing somethign crazy and giving me a share of there money. They need to get a life before I send a bolt of lightning down, its not wise to anger a god
Reply:Those details would be enough to open accounts in your name, you would then be getting letters from debt collectors in a few months time, don`t be tempted. If you apply the logic that no-one gives anything away for nothing, that is your answer.
Reply:Don't be temped it is a scam remember you have to be in it to win it....lol
Reply:I get those all the time. They're complete bullshit; if you didn't enter any contest, you didn't win anything. They're trying to get your personal information. It's easy to identify these scams because they all have the same basic premise, and they're always after the same stuff. Report the email as spam and delete it immediately afterwards.
Reply:If you don't know who they are then, yes, it's fraudulent ! Report it to Yahoo Abuse - they'll tackle it. But, and I can't stress this enough, on no account should you reply to it or give any information about yourself away ! I get lots of 'Phis hings' from mailers claiming to be BANKS - they are NOT ! No bank in the United Kingdom will ever try to contact you by email - some may try to 'phone you, but I choose not to answer or undertake any financial dealings over the telephone. CAUTION is the word here ! If you give any info. out on yourself, then, on your own head be it. !
Reply:Go ahead, make their day, be a MUG!
Reply:Don`t it is junk
Reply:It's a "spam scam".

Only a citizen of England can win their lottery.
Reply:if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. DONT do it
Reply:SSSSCCCCCCCCCAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAM!
Reply:haha i know what it is

How do you get an audible warning of a new email? This is not for messaging.?

Yahoo is aware of this ongoing problem for many users at the present time. They have their messenger engineers working on it hoping to get it fixed soon. Yahoo servers have been on and offline installing and updating the New Mail replacing beta mail and it is causing alot of glitches in the service.
How do you get an audible warning of a new email? This is not for messaging.?
As far as I know, you can't UNLESS to are signed in to Yahoo Messenger.

Yahoo Messenger has, under "Preferences", "Alerts and Sounds", an option to alert you when new mail arrives.
Reply:Good question! I used to get it and now I don't. I'd like to get it back again.

change your email account's password. then they will get shut out since the password is no longer any good
Reply:try to change your password and work on.. then again check it....
Reply:I would make a new email account good luck
Reply:Log back in and change your password then log out......

Sign back in under your new password
Reply:Well either change your password so that you only know it and when you are on your email change the settings of your email account (if you with hotmail or yahoo they have that option to change settings), so that it will automatically log you out in a certain amount of time without you forgetting to log off.

Otherwise report it to your email account that someone has access to your email account.

Or go back to the computer you used previously and log off your email there.

Hope it helps

I recently received an email about doing rebates from home. Has anyone done this and is it legitimate?

I am curious if anyone has done this processing of rebates from home and what are the hidden issues, if any?
I recently received an email about doing rebates from home. Has anyone done this and is it legitimate?
It's a scam. Don't do it.

You will receive a check and be asked to return a portion of it via Western Union. They will give you a generous percentage and allow you to deduct the WU fee from the amount.

In about one week, your bank will inform you that the check was a forgery, and deduct the amount of the check and a processing fee from your account. You will never find the other party again.

You lose your money.

Don't do it!

Good luck!

Based on your resume, we think you could be successful providing freelance data entry services and we'd like to meet you in person. We are holding a free 2-hour worksho
Does This Email Look Legit to you? I would like to work at home?
Personally, I don't think it looks legit. However, you could always respond to the email and ask them for THEIR contact information as you would like to know more about the company and their workshop. If they are legit, they will be able to provide you with such details and there will be someone to answer your questions over the phone.
Reply:I smell scam. The "free" workshop will probably end up costing hundreds of dollars to sign up with them, only to find out that there are not very many companies that actually outsource their data entry and clerical functions (which there aren't).
Reply:question is do u have a reaume on careerbuilder.com ? if so go to it and see if it is listed . if not it is a scam
Reply:I am a stay-at-home mom and I am always looking for some work I can do at home to make a little extra money for our family. I also have my resume on careerbuilder.com, and let me just say I get those kinds of emails from "companies" all the time. I'm not saying the one above specifically is a scam, but a lot of them are. It may be legit, but you never make nearly as much money as they say, or you sign up for something but you never actually get any work to do to make the money. Hope this helps....
Reply:That last line is the clue. "We are holding a workshop".

They are looking for money. Whether the workshop is any value is a different story - but dollars to donuts they spammed EVERY resume on that site and told each person they were "qualified". Then they'll ask for money from you.

Bad sign.

How did this person get my email address?

I recieved an email entitled "In answer to your question on Yahoo!Answers". I took the risk and opened it - it is not from somebody i know. The guy seemed genuine and gave an extra answer to my question (one that is closed to new answers), but my email address is not shown on my profile, so how did this guy do that?

It worrys me - especially as he could have just added a comment to the question!

I need to get a copy of an email I sent out How do I do this?it is not in my sent folder/?

I sent it to draft and them sent it hoping a copy would stay, But it did not and I despretley need a copy of it.

I need to get a copy of an email I sent out How do I do this?it is not in my sent folder/?
When you send anything from the draft folder---Yahoo (now) removes it and sends it to the Sent folder. To prevent that---hold down the "shift" key while clicking "Send"--and it stays in the draft folder.

Why don't you just turn on your sent folder, to save copies of all sent items ?

Mail page%26gt;%26gt;options (top right)%26gt;%26gt;mail options (if available)%26gt;%26gt;general preferences, and check the box ----"save sent items in the Sent folder"----then click "save" at bottom of page.

As for the email you "desperately" need----If it's not in the "Trash"----then I'm afraid it gone forever.

You could always ask the person you sent it to ---to send you a copy of what they received.
Reply:a copy has to be in your sent, draft, outbox or trash. If it is not in any of those boxes it was not sent. Or try pushing the back button on your PC to see if you can get back to it. Hopefully you find it

Definitely do not click, just delete.

'adress' is misspelled, and the wording is funny too...'probably it is'...'stop email sending'.

I've noticed misspellings and funny wording in just about all of the scam emails...I've won the international lottery like 15 times and have had 10 or so wealthy relatives in a foreign country leave me everything!!

These are just some things that I noticed, and things I look for in a somewhat official looking email.

That's my tip for questionable emails! Hope it helps. :)

How to say this in an email?

I was playing at an ultimate Frisbee torniment this weekend. My coach and I get along well we have a jokingly hateful thing going on. Anyway i was messing around and he was with his girlfriend (who is like a sister to me.) he got on my case and was being an ***. I ignored him and now hes really mad.

(I also need to tell him I have his hat.)

I feel really bad because he was someone I really could talk to.

How should I say this in an email?

How to say this in an email?
just tell him how you feel, it doesn't have to be hard you are just over analyzing things. or you could call him or tell him in person, sometimes for me the things i thought would be the hardest things to say in person were actually really easy

Im confused why did this guy email me saying this?

he asked a question about white men and asians, and the black women are not being choose by the white men.

Here is my comment

So true, I wonder why black women arent being accepted

there like 12ppl who answer his question and he emialed me telling his life story on what races he has been turned down by and what races are nice to him (when dating).

Why do you feel the need to reply? Unless you want to get into a discussion on that topic, either don't bother replying or give a token response to say you don't feel like talking

Another thing, the phishers telling you to "keep this lottery information confidential" would indicate to you not to say anything about this to anybody until they have finished scamming you.

Wanna know if this email is true or is just a scam?
It's a scam, and a very common one. Don't reply, don't give them any of your personal information, and certainly don't send them any money!

There's no such thing as an e-mail lottery conducted by Microsoft, Yahoo, AOL, MSN, or anybody else.
Reply:It's probably a scam, as Microsoft doesn't announce about something like that.

beside you can check the "from" field to be sure about the mail that sent you these mails.
Reply:TOTAL SCAM! Just go to AOL or Microsoft's websites. If they were awarding a million British pounds, you can bet they'd be announcing it on their official sites. Do a Google news search. A promotion this big is going to get a lot of press. Bet you won't find anything.

Emails like this have been going around for years.
Reply:i have won about a hundred of them, in different lotteries....they are all scams
Reply:Scam, leave well alone...........
Reply:www.snopes.com is a good place to verify rumors and scams. The FBI has a website for you to forward those emails to. One address is if you have been affected and the other is if you haven't.
Reply:I say scam. Also try snopes.com, you can type in a few key words from the email and they'll tell you if they've heard anything and if it's true or false.
Reply:if it's free money, it mostly a scam. no major companies send up emails to you saying you have won monies
Reply:totally fake
Reply:100% scam, I get loads of emails like that, spanish lotteries, british lotteries.... all crap
Reply:Scam...there is are also faxes being faxed out claimng the same thing...among others.

If you did not play you cannot win,its as simple as that, look carefully at the email it does not even have your name on it so how can it be real.

Is there a scam behind this type of email?

Ah the devil is in the details. I recently subcribed to a penpal website that seems ok. No wild pics or comeons only people interested in communicating about life. I have gotten some odd responses in that the emails seem a little out of place and they are asking me to reply to another email address outside of this website . I am sending nothing but a email with no personal data to this person. I have seen my share of please send me your bank account emails but these do not appear like those, but I think I may smell a rat but not sure why. Why would someone request me to send an email to an outside account by an forward comeon letter?
Is there a scam behind this type of email?
It could be a spam bot. Ruling that out it could just be someone trying to talk to you. Check the TOS for the site and whether or not your email address is given out. If it is not given out, and you didn't give it out, it may be that the company fowarded your information to an advertiser. The worse that can happen is you get some spam. There are temporary email accounts out now that allow you to create an email that will disappear after a short time.

Best suggestion I can give is to create one of those and identify yourself in some human form that a real person would understand and a bot would not, and explain that you are just checking that it is not a solicitation. This keeps your real e-mail from being marked as "live" if you were to respond using that address. If it is a real person then you can use your real address, since they already know it.

Be careful as bots are getting more sophisticated and may seem very human to some. As always protect your passwords and personal information as if it is your life, because it really is.
Reply:maybe if you send me your bank account i might tell you
Reply:Off hand, I'd say that your "sniffer" is working properly. If there is a desire that you respond to a different email than the one the other party is communicating to you with, drop them, now. It is a trap that you should want nothing to do with.

What does this Email mean to you?

"I am sorry I bothered you and wrote to you, I know you are busy now. Please forget all the things I have said in the Emails.I promise this is the last email so your not bothered by me,and so you can do your work.I understand if you dont want to show up on Thursday.I am sorry"

What is wrong with her?
What does this Email mean to you?
Ahh, she sounds like something/someone is REALLY bothering her and is very depressed.

I hate to say: but it even sounds a suicidal....

I think you could call or stop by with a present to check on her.
Reply:This is a person with manners who feels she has intruded on your time and maybe e-mailed a little too much, perhaps was being a little self indulgent. Resulting in becoming a pain in the @@@ to someone who's really busy and would probably get back to her if you were given the chance. I dont know what she said hope it wasnt over interest in you or something crazy. She's also afraid you wont want to spend anytime with her or at her event on Thursday. She's really concerned about your feelings about her at this point.
Reply:Well who sent the e-mail? It sounds like a lost love. And if it was a total stranger block this from your account. Don't be making dates on-line. Hope this helps. Maybe its just a friend who really needs to talk with you. You must know yourself what this means. Was this a friend of yours?
Reply:Did you say or do something to upset her? Mabey she is extremely sensitive and you did something to make her think you hate her and she is a bother to you.
Reply:Means, the writter of email is guessing your reaction to the mail she sent. Her guess might be right and might be wrong and only you can answer.
Reply:she obviously feels guilty over something and(no offense) maybe you said something to her that made her feel bad and so she thinks you dont want to talk to her,
Reply:You need to confront her and ask her. She is the one with the answers. Maybe a miss comunication on her part. Get together to talk.
Reply:S.T.A.L.K.E.R
Reply:She's apologizing.
Reply:sound's like an apologie of something
Reply:She would like you to come to her party on Thursday...but not if you don't want to...Poor Girl. Go to her party.

How do I fix this problem: I can't receive email from one sender only?

I recently sent an important email to a friend of mine. Now, when he tries to reply to it, his emails always get forwarded back to him. I'm not sure if or what kind of error message he's getting. Does anyone have any ideas? I can receive email from other people, for example, my mom can send me email from AOL. The person whose emails are getting forwarded is sbcglobal.
How do I fix this problem: I can't receive email from one sender only?
Maybe at one time you marked one of his incoming emails as spam by accident. I've done that. Go to Options from your mail screen, then click Mail Options. Scroll to Blocked Addresses. If that address is on your block list just remove it.

How would you feel if you received an email like this?

There are a few things that I need to update you concerning appreciate dinner:

appreciation dinner is going forth as planned. For those of you who tried to boycott this endeavor and wouldn鈥檛 take any tickets, we are moving forth without your participation. .. is our national intercessor and she has embraced many of you, fed you, and even purchased groceries for you, and for you to try and boycott this endeavor is just evil. Both Chief and I want you to know that we are moving forth without your participation concerning this matter. If God sees mother as royalty, then we are going to treat her as royalty; we are going to celebrate her in a royal fashion.

For those of you who have taken tickets to sell, I am requesting that you submit your money for the sale of your tickets to me by March 18th. We have incurred lots of expenses. Many of you have expressed an interest to attend the dinner during the crusade, please let me know if you need tickets
How would you feel if you received an email like this?
I wouldn't understand it, because I don't know what it's relating to. I've emailed you and hope you can help me understand your Q better. Then I can give you a more comprehensive answer. Sorry, but this is just an odd

bit of writing, and until I have other background data to

flesh this out, I'm at a loss here as to how to answer

appropriately.

Blessings and hope to hear in my email soon and then I can edit this answer. :)

EDIT: The short and very easy answer is to just suck it up, and go along with the new program and buy a ticket and be there to show appreciation, and do alot of praying before hand so you can attend with good spirits. Practice forgiveness and let it go as God is watching and knows all about this injustice.

Now for my answer from my heart after some prayerful consideration: You appear to have hit the tip of a very big iceberg and didn't mean to or have any idea you were going to. This is alot more serious than it seems on the surface.

And it is about a much larger issue than an appreciation dinner for your founder. If this is what happens as a result of your idea, then it will happen again around other people's ideas, including the board of the church. And before it 's all over it could be disastrous for your church. I'm not being a negative person here, but this type of situation goes on in churches all over and causes many people to go away from churches and even worse from God.

It appears that your nice idea was taken out of your hands and a group of you appealed what was going on and got rejected and so then decided to boycott the celebration which turned from a simple voluntary lowcost show of appreciation into an expensive production causing divisive feelings within the church. This happens from time to time in churches and is difficult to work out. It has been known to 'split' a church, where one group goes off and starts another church. I'm not suggesting you do this. But this is just an indication of what is to come, so try not to get chewed up in the middle. Especially if you plan on being around for the long haul. Somehow these two groups must reconcile in some way. And it sounds like there are very strong personalities running the covering organization who could stand to grow up and mature in their people-skills. But they are just people too, so try to cut them some slack and be

fore-giving in this situation. WWJD? He'd never have turned an appreciation dinner into a stressful situation. But this is an opportunity for all involved to grow up spiritually a little more if people choose to take the opportunity. Be sure you step aside from the avalanche so you can be there and be of use once the avalanche has stopped it's deadly roll. Do not get caught up in this emotionally, or you will be taken under and get chewed up really badly. You need someone you can lean on during this who is spiritually strong and wise also in the affairs of men and is not involved in your church group, who can listen objectively and offer sound suggestions and keep you held in prayer.

Remember, too, that the church is a gathering place for those who worship together in fellowship. When the fellowship is affected, the whole body of the church suffers, and people put their focus on the distresses instead of on God.

However, this is a great opportunity for personal spiritual growth, as you step into spiritual leadership, which is what you've done here, whether you know it or not. So try to keep spiritual principles above your emotions around this situation.

The main point is that you get to show your appreciation to the founder. And you don't want to foment a cold war within the church, as sometimes occurs around these situations.

Right now there are hurt feelings around this, on both sides - your side, and the organization's side. Your group is now boycotting the celebration that was your idea in the first place.

The organization side wrote an unprofessional and very inciteful email letter. OUCH It could have been worded differently and accomodations could have been made to include the original group - your group - in the festivities. You could still show up (just bring your own food, or eat ahead of time) as a group, peaceful but solid in wanting to show your appreciation as part of the whole church on the night of the banquet. But you all will need to take that into prayer. I don't know how large of a group your group is, or if they have the courage and stamina that it takes to stand up for what they are believing in in a peaceful way that would be an eye-opening demonstration of how love and peace truly do overcome all obstacles. No one would bar you from just the celebration, it's the food that requires the tickets. And this organization needs to put their own money where their mouth is instead of requiring everyone to buy a ticket. Only those intending to eat the meal should have to pay the ticket price. Those who just want to come for the appreciation part should be allowed in. Many churches deal with this kind of thing in this manner. And if that is going to happen during dinner, then you all should be allowed to attend and sit and not eat. Ain't such a big deal really, it's just that this whole thing got out of hand and is now not serving the whole church. If this 'covering organization' really is spiritually aware and connected then this solution should be forthcoming now. It may be a good thing that this is happening in one way, if it opens the eyes of the members to how controlling the 'covering org' is - and you don't have to say anything. Just stick around and time will tell and the event will eventually speak for itself in people's memories. God truly is more than enough in this situation. In case none of this reconciliation will be happening here's something else:

Remember the simple point here: You and your group desired to show this founder how much she's appreciated.

You still can do this and the other celebration can also take place. It's not a perfect solution, but it is a viable and workable one that would touch the heart of your founder.

A huge amount of prayer is needed here, as well as some practical action. Pray for guidance and then pray some more.

Here are some options that may get you thinking:

%26gt;%26gt;Your group could get a really nice card and each person sign it - then include in a separate piece of paper a nice letter of appreciation for all your founder has done for you.

A really nice piece of paper, and either have someone nicely hand letter it if they know how to do that fancy writing stuff, or have it printed off a computer in a really pretty way.

%26gt;%26gt;Your group could invite the founder to someone's house for a potluck supper to go with the card and appreciation letter. This could be prior to March 18. It wouldn't be in a rival type attitude or fashion - it would just be your group's way of showing her what you wanted in the first place. Don't worry about the banquet, keep your group's focus on the original reason. Let others in the church know if you want to offer them an opportunity to come to the pot luck. If you don't want to, then don't put any flyers out. If you are going to do the open invitation then just a simple flyer that says "YOU ARE INVITED to attend an APPRECIATION POT-LUCK on March 7 at 7 pm at Suzi's house. All interested please just come and bring a dish to share (you aren't counting on these people, and so if they show there will be enough food for them too). Looking forward to seeing you there." It doesn't take much to get a potluck going with a group that won't be at the celebration.

%26gt;%26gt;Someone could make up a certificate of appreciation and have it framed or get a nice plaque if you take up a small collection within the group.

%26gt;%26gt;After it's all over, you could have a private meeting with the founder and share your concerns. Write the main points on a piece of paper and let her have that to review and pray about, as to how to reconcile the church body. That would be within the scope of her 'job', and she would have received the appreciation from both groups by this time, so she wouldn't be in the middle of something that would ruin that for her, and yet she can do what she's able to do from the spiritual aspect.

She, of all people would understand all the emotions around this and can be the intercessor between both groups. Because what you describe right now is a church with 'factions' within the group, and that truly is her job and expertise.

I'm really sorry that this happens in churches. But the good news is that you will have matured in spiritual strength when this is all over, and you will have a closer relationship with God through Christ, and you will be wiser and able to help others get through such situations as this. And you will begin to really use your power of discernment in aiding opposing groups to reconcile.

I'm sorry that what was such a lovely and simple and heartfelt idea of yours got removed from you and taken over and turned completely around, and that those involved at the 'higher level' didn't treat you and your group with more honor and respect. But there is a bigger picture here, that none can see just as yet. God will reveal more later. Just love your founder the best you can, try to let the rest go, stay prayed up, and be strong in your faith and stand your ground for your chruch, until God leads you elsewhere.

Blessings and prayers to you :) May your heart be at peace over this. Sorry so long in answering.

Do you think I should email this guy pictures of me?

We started emailing each other and he seems really nice and I saw one of his pictures and he's really cute. He saw my picture on my avatar (on my other account) and he was saying how I'm really pretty and wants me to email him a better picture of me. Do you think I should? I'm a minor by the way, and he's not. I don't know what to do without being rude.
Do you think I should email this guy pictures of me?
Hmmm let me take a guess....NO!
Reply:I don't think you should email pictures of yourself to him. As a minor it's better to play it safe. If this person has already given a hint that he is interested in you and now wants your picture, you can bet that he wants you to be more than a friend to him. I'm even going to go as far as saying that if you do send a picture to him, you're asking for trouble.

If he's ten years older than you, he should know better. I would avoid speaking with him; don't worry about being rude. Please respect yourself enough to keep yourself safe, and definitely don't give personal information (including pictures) to people you don't know on the internet. It may seem like innocent fun, but you really must be careful in this world.
Reply:If you are a minor and he is not, cease all communication with him after telling him not to talk to you anymore. Tell him also you will forward anything further he sends to you to your parents.

You could be putting yourself in serious danger with this person you don't know. At the very least it is inappropriate and possibly illegal for him to flirt with you over the computer. Odds are whatever he wants from you, it isn't something that is in your best interests.
Reply:If you're not comfortable with it (which it sounds like you're not given that you don't want to be rude) don't do it. I would trust your instincts; if they tell you to be cautious - listen to them. You can just tell him that you're not comfortable with it. He's an adult - he should understand (and he should appreciate honesty). If he loses interest and bails on you - then he wasn't worth getting to know anyway.

Ultimately you should be cautious, because I can imagine very few circumstances in which someone who is ten years older than a minor would have honorable intentions. If you do decide to send him a photo and continuing to be his friend, be careful how much information you give out about yourself - and definitely tell someone that you're talking with this guy just in case something bad happens.
Reply:NO! NO! NO! If he knows you are a minor, WHY is he wanting a picture of you? You must protect yourself. You need to stay away from this guy and talk to a trusted adult about this. Something is not right. Please, talk to someone you trust that is close to you. Don't have any further contact with him, please.
Reply:ok, stop. It's not being rude, your being wise, you don't even know the guy so what does it matter what he thinks of you. That's how it starts, he'll want a picture, then know where your from. You need to stop immediately!!

You could find someone who is your own age
Reply:you don't know the guy. don't do it. tell him the truth. that you don't know him so it ain't safe. if he gets mad, oh well. if he is that nice of a guy, he will understand.

Good Luck!!!

Without being rude?

Hmmm. How does one politely tell a stalker-pedophile-probable rapist to politely jump off a bridge into a meat grinder?
Reply:No. Stop communicating with him. He's a creep.
Reply:You're done corresponding with this guy now. Tell him to look you up when you turn 18.

Reply:woah your gonna get raped if you do that
Reply:I wouldn't. The odds are more than likely he is a Nigerian scammer.

How do i email all users of yahoo? is this possible without them being in my contacts?

I would like to ask the users if they have a saxophone and if anyone wants to sell one. I thought that maybe you could help me figure out how to email every yahoo user without having their email adress.
How do i email all users of yahoo? is this possible without them being in my contacts?
Yahoo is very user-friendly, and being so they have prevented this sort of thing. Imagine if they hadn't you would recieve about 8000 e-mails everyday, from people Asking for things, asking for help, Pornographical sites, phishing sites, and basically any site that want's to get your attention. Your best bet is to go shopping online, or go to the local music store.
Reply:Do you have any idea of how many hundreds of thousands of Yahoo users there are? They are all over the world. No, of course you can't email to all of them. that's what spam is.
Reply:Unsolicited email from strangers is spam. Which is illegal in many places.

Put an ad on Craigslist instead.

Every time I click on send or attach files I loose my email. How do I stop this happening?

I type up an email, then when done I try to send it by clicking on the send button and I get a blank email screen. The same happens when I try to attach files and even when I click the save as draft button. Every thing I have just typed and even the addresses disappear.
Every time I click on send or attach files I loose my email. How do I stop this happening?
Attach the file first then write the email lol
Reply:Its happening the same here... Whenever i try sending an e-mail or attach a file to an email it goes blanck again... Dont know what the problem is but its frustrating Report Abuse

Reply:Are you sure that it is not sending the email? Some emails just automatically go back to the inbox after an email is sent without any type of receipt.

Something screwy is going on with my email.....has this ever happened to you?

I've been using Hotmail since 2006 and I've never had anything like this happen before. For some reason Some messages that I deleted are back in my inbox. You know how you can still see messages in the deleted folder? Well, I completely deleted the messages in the deleted folder so I don't know why they're back. It's weird. Does anyone know why this is happening? Has it ever happened to you?
Something screwy is going on with my email.....has this ever happened to you?
It's probably a bug. Hotmail is probably making some changes to their system. I'd ignore it unless it keeps happening. In that case, I'd contact Hotmail and let them know what's going on. Be glad that at least they're not deleting emails that you want :)
Reply:Nope, they could be something wrong with your computer or an error

Reply:If I were you I would seriously think twice about downloading anything from an address that you don't recognize, especially if it's asking you to download something that "supposedly" eliminates a computer worm. For all you know, once you click the attachment ,to download the eliminator, it could actually release the worm itself. Be very careful when it comes to things like that.

I hope this helps. Good luck!!
Reply:NEVER install anything that a stranger sends you. One of the most common tactics of hackers is to claim that the program they want you to install will protect you from a security threat like worms or spyware. In actuality, the program they want you to install probably is a worm or Trojan which will either mess up your computer, steal all your info, or hijack your email account so that they can send out spam using your account and leave you to face the consequences.
Reply:never open a email that you do not know who it is., if you are not sure have any doubts, delete it.
Reply:If you don't recognize it, delete it. It is probably itself a trojan or a worm. Any time you are faced with something that ASKS YOU to install it unsolicitedly, say no. As a matter of fact, to avoid exposure to risk as much as possible, I would advise:

1. If you don't recognize it and it has a X box to close it, DO NOT USE THAT BOX! It is completely possible for a hacker to write code that "covers up" the close dialog box and captures your click and uses it to install itself. I'm not a hacker, but I am a programmer and it's not a terribly tricky bit of code even for me.

2. Install a java script blocker and a popup blocker. I use Firefox exclusively and it has many excellent extensions that will do this for you. My favorites are NoScript to block javascript in web pages (black list all by default and allows you to white list sites individually. Pain in the *** until you spend some time training it to let in the stuff you want, but WELL worth it) and Firefox itself does good for handling popup blocking. Also, I would download and install AdAware and SpyBot. Spybot also has a feature that isn't turned on by default that you may seriously want to use called TeaTime. It watches for any registry changes (the registry is where all your computer's settings are stored. Ever wonder how it knows your name or where your programs are installed?) Often when Norton Antivirus and everything else has missed an incoming problem, I'll be able to pick up on it because it tried to change the registry to either a) disable something like Norton or b) install itself or give itself permission to get past firewalls etc. All of these are free. I let TeaTime run at startup thouroughly check my computer about once a week. Maximum PC's back issues has a great article about avoiding and killing bugs, but I forget which. Look about 1 to 1 1/2 years back
Reply:Do NOT install it. Do NOT open any attachment in that e mail!

Instead of eliminating some "network worm", that e mail will more than likely end up INFECTING your computer with the Stration Worm. Read here:

http://www.grisoft.com/doc/62/lng/us/tpl...

Just delete that e mail and any others like it. Stration is very commonplace at the moment and you could be getting more of the same sort of infected e mails.

Good luck.
Reply:Better not.
Reply:don't do it it'll give you a virus

How do I delete names on an email when forwarding this same email to other people.?

How do I delete names on an email when forwarding this same email to other people.?
Then you simply highlight them after clicking on "Forward", and delete them. ANY time people do all that forward of joke and virus warning garbage, the recipients' names should be put in the bcc line. No would should be passing out group addresses.
Reply:Make sure to click on Forward "As Inline Text" not "As attachment". If the forwarded email has an attachment, save it then attach it to the new mail because you can only forward attachments when forwarding "As attachment". Report Abuse

Reply:Try hitting Forward first, then delete the email addresses. Hope this helps~
Reply:If you go to the options page and make one little change, you will be able to delete them.

1. Click on the "Options" link in the upper right of your yahoo mail page.

2. When the options page opens, scroll down to and click on "General Preferences."

3. On this page, go down to the blue "Message Actions" section and check the radio button next to "Forward as In-line Text."

4. Go to the bottom of the page and click "Save."

Now, after you click on Forward, the previous addresses will be in your message area. You can edit anything in the email, even the subject line. Highlight all of the previous addresses, then press the delete key on on your keyboard.

How do you email people on this site?

I have gotten emails from people on this site, but I can't figure out how to send them. I know, probably a stupid question.
How do you email people on this site?
Click on their profile, and if they have permitted it, there is a hyperlink to "Email X". Just click on the link and send the e-mail.

If they e-mail you, it's even easier - you just press "Reply" at the end of the e-mail message.

If you want to practice, you can send me an e-mail to see if it works!
Reply:That's okay! Report Abuse

Reply:If u click on their name u should see their page. On the top right u should see Email "such and such" u can only email them if they have that on their page. Your question was not stupid, now could u help me with mine?
Reply:You go to their Q%26amp;A page by clicking on their name and see if they are allowing others to send the mmessages.

If they come into the inbox all you can do is mark them Spam. Just don't open them, it sends a message back to them that your address is active, then they pass it around and you get tons more.

How can i contact a yahoo answer participant if this user has blocked email and Im?
Hi James,

It's true they do have the right to their privacy (maybe in fear of being spammed, or bothered), but why don't you, ask gyrene71, a question, and by giving your address; let them come to you! Just a thought. Good luck. ;-)

Note: Just ask in the same category, that this member is always, or more so in.
Reply:A user has the right to refuse to allow email or instant messengering communication on yahoo! answers.

Staff ask that members of the community respect such users right to privacy and do not attempt to forcefully contact such users.

If the user has answered one of your questions I would personally suggest you add additional details to your open question which can be done by selecting the pencil edit menu and choosing add details.

All the best
