Me and my friend wanna get matching tattoos for best friends tattoos and we've thought of something we want but we both suck at drawing. It's going to say Amber and Karista best friends forever in french around two cherrys that are connected at the top stem with a leaf at the top hanging down. The french translation is:
Amber et Karista
Meillers Amis a (a lil dash over the a) Jamais
You can use a translator to see it..
For colors we want the cherries to be red, with green stems and leaf.. maybe some white shadowing and a black outline.. for the words we want black with maybe white shadowing there... also, we want the words to be in cursive but not just plain cursive.. something girly.
Can someone draw this out for me and email me the pic?

Reply:obviously, you know exactly what you want. you can tell all of this to a tattoo artist and they will come out with a very good drawing/sketch. tattoo artists aren't just copiers- most of them are artists too.
Reply:Find the tattoo shop where you want to get it done, and the artist will be able to draw it up for you in no time at all.
FYI: you miss-spelled best. In French its Meilleur and since your both girls, ami should be spelled amie.
Reply:Why don't you just go to a tattoo shop and have the artist draw it. Cause if you have some one draw it and take it to the artist they might want to change it around.

Reply:go to a tattoo shop, the one where you want to get the done and give them youre ideas. they are great artists that can sketch out your ideas into a really awesome design, thats what i did. also white is really not the best color for a tattoo, it fades horribly, just so you know.
Reply:im a good artist, but only if i new how to send pics!
Reply:Hey i love drawing, ive actually drawn a cople tattos for my friends and they went and got them done! i was stoked. anyways ..............would it be ok if i changed it around a bit, cause i dont think that white would be the best thing for a tattoo. i have three one of which covers my complete left side and i wanted white but my tattoo artist said it wouldnt be the best idea. any ways email me to let me know if i can change it around just a lil bit. but yeah drawings fun for me so i would love to give it a try. btw is this ur first tattoo????

Is it illegal to send an email like this?
Would it be illegal to send an email to someone saying basicly "yo b*tch you need to open your eyes and realize that you kid is not perfect." ?
Is it illegal to send an email like this?
It may be legal according to the law but Yahoo has to right to close any free account for any reason.

I want to email this girl I am interested in, any tips? (Girls Only Please)?
I like this girl, but I don't get to see her too often, and we can't really hang out. And she doesnt use instant messenger. I want to start emailing her, just to get to know her better. Are there any tips or things I should be aware of when emailing her?
I know I shouldn't respong immedietly. What makes a girl want to start emailing some one?
I just really like this girl, and want to take every precaution.
I want to email this girl I am interested in, any tips? (Girls Only Please)?
Just send her a casual, breezy email stating the facts.
E.g. "Hi Jane, how are you? Just wanted to say hi, I figure this is the best way for us to chat since we don't see each other often or can't really hang out. What have you been up to?"
P.S. If you want to talk on IM sometime let me know and I will add you to my list.
Right there you have casually showed your interest in her, successfully initiated conversation and subtly encouraged her to start IM-ing.
If she's interested in you she will more that likely start using IM and give you the address as suggested or tell you why she doesn't but encourage email conversations.
Don't be too pushy and come on too strong...get to know her, ask open ended questions -- those that require elaboration (e.g. what's would be your perfect thing to do for summer?) so that she can feel relaxed and open up and talk like she's talking to a friend. The more you guys talk the closer you will get but you've got to be creative in showing her that you like her because you don't want to get stuck in the friend zone. So after a few friendly emails back annd forth say something like "Sometimes I wish we could see each other more...it would be cool to talk in person once in a while" that says without saying it that you want to see her and it doesn't sound like just a friend saying "we should hang out"
Here's something you can do as well, after a few questions back and forth say something like "I'm sorry if it seems like I'm asking a lot of questions...I'd just like to get to know you better" it's better to say it that way than to say "I'm just trying to get to know you". When you say "I'd like to" it says without saying I like you and I like getting to know you better. As opposed to just asking questions to know more about someone.
Good luck hon.
Reply:first of all, im a guy.
but, girls like to know that a guy is interested in them. i dont know your situation but if you really like her and you might think she likes you why dont you send her an email about something you have talked about or a picture of both of you or something along those lines that inspires a response from her which you can turn into a long email chain.
Reply:Just try to be yourself through your messages. Don't feel too hurt if she doesn't get back to you right away, not everyone likes to email..I hate it.
First email keep it short and simple..hows it going, let her know what your up to, do want to hang out, sort of stuff.
If she wasn't the one to give you her email let her know how you got it.
peace and g'luck!
Reply:hmm thats a hard one. Are you sure you guys cant talk at all? If you really cant talk to her in person (which would be a million times better), you could ask for her number and talk to her on the phone. do that because then it shows her that you care about her enough to actually talk to her. The email thing is not going to work out unless you guys are already good friends. Just forget the email.

What would you think if you saw this email in your husband's work email?
Greetings Jen,
Just wanted to say hello again and give you my new email that is best to reach me. It was great to hear your voice. I hope all is well with you and I look forward to seeing your trip photos.its feels good to be back in touch with you,
What would you think if you saw this email in your husband's work email?
it is a friendship note and tone! nothing to worry about!
Reply:I've had the unfortunate luck to have some first hand experience with this same situation.
First, who is Jen? Second, has he ever told you about Jen? Third, is this how your hubby would talk to any man or woman, or is this an unusually "warm" way for him to be talking to someone?
The part of the email that bothers me is that he tells her it was "great to hear her voice", then he says it FEELS good to be back in touch with her. I would be less bothered if he had said "great to hear from you", and "it's nice to be back in touch". Saying it was great to hear her voice and that it feels good to be back in touch with her is a little too warm and personal for my taste. Then again, if this is just how your hubby talks to people and you know that, AND if you know who this Jen person is and he's been open with you about her, then nothing to worry about, I'm sure.
It sounds like this is someone he was close to at some point and lost touch with. If this is the case, you should probably already know who she is. If he's never told you about her, why hasn't he? And if this isn't how he normally just talks, then why is he getting so warm and fuzzy about her in this email?
Why are you looking at your husband's work email? If he knows you see his work email and he sent this anyway, odds are that it's harmless, because he also must know you'll see her response. If you are snooping and don't trust him, maybe there is good reason for that from some past incident. There are some details lacking here that make it hard to say what this may be. Either way, I'd confront him with it--maybe AFTER you see her response. Her response may fill in some blanks for you.
Reply:i would be kind of pissed and also wondering "who the heck is this girl?" and why hasnt he told me anything? I would get her email address and sent her a note. See what she has to say. But i would definetly bring it up and see how he acts in front of you. Watch his eyes. You will know if he is lying or hiding somthing. If you feel these vibrations, he is doing somthing he shoudlnt be.
Good luck but start investigating now
Reply:He is doing something very wrong....I bet you she doesn't know he's married to you...I hate men, men are always like this..my husband just cheated on me with pornography. He did it again and I found out today. I am so sorry this is happening to you. I don't believe in a girl and man being friends. There is always something sexual going on. Why are men like this....when we do so much for them?
Reply:I would think that he had made contact with an old friend. Unless I had a reason to think otherwise, I certainly wouldn't think there was anything wrong with that email. Seems pretty innocent to me. I email old school friends all the time and some are men. Not having sex , just greetings.

Reply:we had a good time last weekend, so what?

I already have a shopping cart to charge people. How would I set up an online email course for my business?
I want to create a Yahoo email online course for my business. How do I do this? How would I set it up?
do you mean to teach people who to use email? If so, I don't see the market for it. Kind of like teaching kids to ride a bike, they get the info from parents or friends.
but I could be wrong!
Reply:That is a interesting question, I would like to know my self , would you let me know also, when u have answer, Thank u

Is this it for good where the Yahoo Email Account is concerned?
Thanks to one or two peeps, I managed to successfully delete one of my old yahoo email accounts. I obviously check this by trying to sign in but it didn't let me in so I assume this is it.
Is this it???
Also, what happens if I try to send an email from another account to that old account??? Does it flag back as being rejected??
Cheers

Is this it for good where the Yahoo Email Account is concerned?
If you deleted the account, then yes, it is gone.
If anyone sends mail to that account, they will get a message back that says their mail was not able to be delivered.
Hope this has helped

SCAM just hit the SPAM button do not open it just confirms your email address and you will get a lot more spam. Never give out your personal info to any of these places. Hope this helps!!!
Reply:yes its a phishing scam the only reason you would use this information is when you are creating a yahoo profile for people to see there is no reason for yahoo to "Demand" this info from you and besides yahoo does not close people's accounts you have to go to their delete user link and fill its form out to ever sever your connection to them
Reply:DO NOT reply. This is a phishing scam attempting to get you to give them all your personal info. It's not from Yahoo, just delete it and ignore it. Good luck and be careful.

What does this mean on a ups shipping receipt email?
I ordered something from fanhut.com and in the email it said...
All items will be processed in ups in 3-6 business days.
Does this mean that it's only being processed or does this mean it will be at my house in 3-6 days? So how long will it take until it gets to my house?
What does this mean on a ups shipping receipt email?
How long it takes will depend on how consistently you answer your door over the next 6 business days. They will have attempted delivery within 6 business days. That means taking the day UPS receives the shipment counts as day zero. Count forward 6 business days.

I believe I got an e-mail from Yahoo asking for my PIN. Is this a legit email?
Yahoo cannot be contacted directly if a scam is suspected. Shouldn't Yahoo be available for this service?
I believe I got an e-mail from Yahoo asking for my PIN. Is this a legit email?
The mail is surely a fradulent one.
Dont fall for it.
Reply:No, you didn't get an email from Yahoo asking for your PIN. They don't do that. That's called spoofing or phishing. It also spam. Just get rid of it. And why should Yahoo be available for some kind of service? They are aware that spammers use spoofing and phishing. It's up to individuals to be sensible enough to get rid of their junk mail without Yahoo's help.
Reply:No bank, or company will ever ask you for your pin number, social security number, the 3 numbers on the back of a credit card or anything else that could allow them to have access to your personal information. It is a phishing scam.
Reply:No, it is a scam attempting to get your personal information and/or money. Do not respond to it. Report it to yahoo, so they are aware.
Reply:Yahoo dose not send these kinds od emails. They would send you a letter. They know your name and your home address. It is a scam delete it.
Reply:NO, NO NO...
REPORT IT AS SPAM TO YAHOO, that you can definitely do from your inbox while reading mails , isn't it?
Reply:no website will ever do that

Did you know that 80% of UCDS students could not find the error above? Forward this to al least 5 people with the title 'Find the error, its impossible', and when you click 'Send', the answer will be right in front of your eyes!
I got this in a email and i cant figure it out?
聽聽聽The error is not in the numbers, it's actually in the text preceding the numbers. The contraction of "it is" should be spelled "it's", in this case the apostrophe is missing.
聽聽聽It's a common e-mail prank, a barely recognizable spelling or punctuation error in text preceding a list. When asked to find the error above most people erroneously assume that the error is in the list itself.
Reply:Its nothing to do with the numbers its something to do with the text

Im pretty sure its (Forward this to al least 5 people with the title ) al is that it?
Reply:If the title is word for word EXACTLY then the error is in its. there should be an apostrophe. there is nothing wrong with the letters. Someone said 10-19 were indented, they aren't they just look like that because the 20 is bigger in the 2.

How do I email this guy because I want to see him, BUT I still want to play hard to get?
I would like to meet this guy that I knew a year ago for coffee or something, but I really want him to make the first move. We've corresponded over the year and I'm going to be over in his city in the next month. How do I e-mail him and word it so that I don't look desperate. I would like him to actually take the initiative.
How do I email this guy because I want to see him, BUT I still want to play hard to get?
is it really important for him to make the 1st move? as a female, i understand why you want to play hard to get, but is it worth throwing away a potentially great relationship? e-mail him and say something along the lines of..."hey, i'm going to be in your hometown for some time now. i'm kinda lost here and want to enjoy this place, but i got no idea where to go, help?" if this doesn't work, then you ask him out! don't throw something good away just b/c you don't want to make the 1st move! good luck
Reply:Dear Bob,
How are you doing? Hope you are doing as well as I am. (Smile)

I got an email saying that my state tax return was accepted. Does this mean its been reviewed and OK'd?
I was just wondering, because last year my state return got reviewed because they wanted to see copies of my lease from the rent deduction and I didn't end up getting my return til late summer. I was hoping this wouldn't happen again.
I was wondering if the email saying it was accepted meant that 1) "we've received your return" or 2) "we've reviewed and accepted your return without issue".
I got an email saying that my state tax return was accepted. Does this mean its been reviewed and OK'd?
All it means is that the state acknowledges receipt of your return and will process it. Your return could still be reviewed.
Reply:No, it doesn't mean that everything has been checked, just that nothing showed up wrong as immediately obvious. It means they have received it and are processing it, but doesn't mean it's without further issues.
Reply:It really just means they got it. They are no obvious math errors, but that doesn't mean they can't find something wrong with it later.

I just cancelled SBC DSL, but I want to be able to keep this email?
After canceling your High Speed Internet service, you will receive complimentary Dial service for 60 days, which includes full access to your AT%26amp;T Yahoo! account. If you attempt to log into the Yahoo! network (att.yahoo.com) using your Yahoo! ID and password after 60 days, you will be given the option to create a new Yahoo! ID and transfer your AT%26amp;T Member ID's data and preferences to it. After 100 days, the data and preferences from your AT%26amp;T Member ID will be deleted.
When this is done you have to use a dial up in order to access the account. You can also read this link and if you have any further questions you can contact AT%26amp;T. On the left hand side it will give you 3 different ways to contact them. Here is the link.

When I log onto my aol email my password automatically comes up. How can I stop this from happening?
I would rather type my password in manually but I can not figure out how to reset this without getting a new password. So can anyone tell me how I can change this?
When I log onto my aol email my password automatically comes up. How can I stop this from happening?
You can change your settings under saved passwords in your internet settings. If its under Mozilla under tools and options and security tab. I'm not sure if under Internet explorer or anywhere else. or un-click the "keep me logged in" tab on the mail service.

Why do I get a page saying url not found on this server when trying to open email attachments?
Yahoo is still having some problems at the moment. Suggested cures range from Update Adobe Flash Player and Java script to clear IE7 cache, cookies, and browsing history. Different things seem to work for different people. It's causing attachments to not show, 999 errors where it won't let you do a particular action and some people cannot send receive delete or move mail. It's not just Vista either it's happening to some of us on XP. If all else fails go back to classic mail via this link. http://us.mg1.mail.yahoo.com/dc/optout?s... click yes when asked do you want to opt out. Hope this helps.

How can i close a yahoo email account but not this one i am using currently?
I opened the account for my nephew not knowing he already ask my brother to open for him too
How can i close a yahoo email account but not this one i am using currently?
You have two different ways in which you can close out your account. the first way is not to use it for 4 months and Yahoo! will deactivate it due to inactivity.
The second way you need to read the "Account Deletion" page thoroughly. When you delete an account you are deleting your complete ID. So that means you are losing Yahoo! ID, Mail address, and Profile names. We will also delete your account data and settings across the Yahoo! network. This includes the contents of your HotJobs, Yahoo! Mail, Yahoo! Address Book, Yahoo! Small Business, Yahoo! GeoCities, Yahoo! Briefcase, My Yahoo! and more. Account deletion will also terminate any paid services that you own with this yahoo id. You may not be able to recover payments remitted for these services or the data associated with these accounts.
If you would still like to terminate your account you will need to enter your password confirm your identity. You will then be asked to enter the code. Click the "Yes Terminate This Account".

My personal email has been accessed without my permission. Is this a punishable crime?
My boyfriend's ex-wife has been reading my emails, nothing more or less. She has not made any threats or sent any emails that could be construed as harmful. Can she get into trouble for this and what would I need to do to prove that she has done this? Would I be wasting my time by pursuing the issue with the police?
My personal email has been accessed without my permission. Is this a punishable crime?
CHaneg your password. And again. And again if necessary. If she continues to get into it, then she is doing more than just finding out a password. Change ALL of your passwords for that matter. They SHOULD be changed every so often to protect against this happening.
Reply:Change your password. I wouldn't see any reason to bring the law into it, unless you had classified information in there. Why is she doing this? Your boyfriend needs to step in.
Reply:so why dont you be smart and change your password?
If someone was checking your back accounts online, youde change your password right?

This would be a scam to collect valid email addresses (yours) to sell as a spam list.

What do you think of this email i got?
I've had a couple of these emails but the last one say this is the final notice. Its from the british international lottery saying congratulations you've won some money, it tell me how i've won it, its got reference numbers, to claim it i have to contact a claims representative by a link they have left
Here's the thing i have to leave my full name, DOB, marital status, contact address, country, phone number and occupation
then it goes on about my security and if i get any other lottery notification report them to another link they left me.
I know it crap but i cant help being temped it looks and sounds good.
What do you think of this email i got?
Firstly, there is no british international lottery.
Secondly, how can you win money in a lottery you didn't buy a ticket for?!
It is in reality an attempt at identity fraud, which is why they have asked you all this personal information. They need it to be able to get credit in your name and then you get the debt.
Giving these details is the same as giving your pin number and credit card details. If you do it, you are responsible for the debt with whoever they borrow the money from, as you willingly gave the information away and are therefore not protected financially in any way.
The bailiffs even have your home address and phone number to tell you that they are coming to take your possessions away to pay for the debt.
Out of interest, this type of scam has a 1% success rate.
Reply:all I'll say is dont quit your day job chick, you have'nt won anything and as you say you know it's a load of old rubbish, they are phishing for more info from you, do not do this, ignore and delete.
Reply:Its SPAM. Ignore it. Please ignore it!
Reply:sorry but if u awnser it ur stupid cause that right there is idintity fraud there trying to get that importan info u find out where u live get all ur info so they can pretend to be u so for ur sake dont do it cause its first a lie and second off going to screw u
Reply:A scam, just like you suspected. That is how they get many people scammed, by using human nature's feeling of greed.
Reply:dont do it may be filed with a virus or trying to still ur identy
Reply:with just those details that they want you to give. I could go an get credit and whatever else in your name in another country.
Stay away from it.

Reply:Leave well alone! If you didn't enter the lottery yourself, you're not going to win it, are you? This is one huge scam - you're asked to give all your personal details so that they can be used for identity theft. In Britian, if you have a winning lottery ticket, you have to ring up Camelot (the organizers) to verify your win - they don't contact you. The fact that this unscrupulous spammer wants you to leave as many personal details as possible should be ringing huge bells with you, warning you to ignore this!
Reply:If it sounds too good to be true ,it probably is'nt
Reply:Its a scam like the emails I get from suppsoedly millionaires who are doing somethign crazy and giving me a share of there money. They need to get a life before I send a bolt of lightning down, its not wise to anger a god
Reply:Those details would be enough to open accounts in your name, you would then be getting letters from debt collectors in a few months time, don`t be tempted. If you apply the logic that no-one gives anything away for nothing, that is your answer.
Reply:Don't be temped it is a scam remember you have to be in it to win it....lol
Reply:I get those all the time. They're complete bullshit; if you didn't enter any contest, you didn't win anything. They're trying to get your personal information. It's easy to identify these scams because they all have the same basic premise, and they're always after the same stuff. Report the email as spam and delete it immediately afterwards.
Reply:If you don't know who they are then, yes, it's fraudulent ! Report it to Yahoo Abuse - they'll tackle it. But, and I can't stress this enough, on no account should you reply to it or give any information about yourself away ! I get lots of 'Phis hings' from mailers claiming to be BANKS - they are NOT ! No bank in the United Kingdom will ever try to contact you by email - some may try to 'phone you, but I choose not to answer or undertake any financial dealings over the telephone. CAUTION is the word here ! If you give any info. out on yourself, then, on your own head be it. !

How do you get an audible warning of a new email? This is not for messaging.?
Yahoo is aware of this ongoing problem for many users at the present time. They have their messenger engineers working on it hoping to get it fixed soon. Yahoo servers have been on and offline installing and updating the New Mail replacing beta mail and it is causing alot of glitches in the service.
How do you get an audible warning of a new email? This is not for messaging.?
As far as I know, you can't UNLESS to are signed in to Yahoo Messenger.
Yahoo Messenger has, under "Preferences", "Alerts and Sounds", an option to alert you when new mail arrives.
Reply:Good question! I used to get it and now I don't. I'd like to get it back again.

I recently received an email about doing rebates from home. Has anyone done this and is it legitimate?
I am curious if anyone has done this processing of rebates from home and what are the hidden issues, if any?
I recently received an email about doing rebates from home. Has anyone done this and is it legitimate?
It's a scam. Don't do it.
You will receive a check and be asked to return a portion of it via Western Union. They will give you a generous percentage and allow you to deduct the WU fee from the amount.
In about one week, your bank will inform you that the check was a forgery, and deduct the amount of the check and a processing fee from your account. You will never find the other party again.
You lose your money.
Don't do it!
Good luck!

Does This Email Look Legit to you? I would like to work at home?
Personally, I don't think it looks legit. However, you could always respond to the email and ask them for THEIR contact information as you would like to know more about the company and their workshop. If they are legit, they will be able to provide you with such details and there will be someone to answer your questions over the phone.
Reply:I smell scam. The "free" workshop will probably end up costing hundreds of dollars to sign up with them, only to find out that there are not very many companies that actually outsource their data entry and clerical functions (which there aren't).
Reply:question is do u have a reaume on careerbuilder.com ? if so go to it and see if it is listed . if not it is a scam
Reply:I am a stay-at-home mom and I am always looking for some work I can do at home to make a little extra money for our family. I also have my resume on careerbuilder.com, and let me just say I get those kinds of emails from "companies" all the time. I'm not saying the one above specifically is a scam, but a lot of them are. It may be legit, but you never make nearly as much money as they say, or you sign up for something but you never actually get any work to do to make the money. Hope this helps....
Reply:That last line is the clue. "We are holding a workshop".
They are looking for money. Whether the workshop is any value is a different story - but dollars to donuts they spammed EVERY resume on that site and told each person they were "qualified". Then they'll ask for money from you.
Bad sign.

How did this person get my email address?
I recieved an email entitled "In answer to your question on Yahoo!Answers". I took the risk and opened it - it is not from somebody i know. The guy seemed genuine and gave an extra answer to my question (one that is closed to new answers), but my email address is not shown on my profile, so how did this guy do that?
It worrys me - especially as he could have just added a comment to the question!

I need to get a copy of an email I sent out How do I do this?it is not in my sent folder/?
I sent it to draft and them sent it hoping a copy would stay, But it did not and I despretley need a copy of it.
I need to get a copy of an email I sent out How do I do this?it is not in my sent folder/?
When you send anything from the draft folder---Yahoo (now) removes it and sends it to the Sent folder. To prevent that---hold down the "shift" key while clicking "Send"--and it stays in the draft folder.
Why don't you just turn on your sent folder, to save copies of all sent items ?
Mail page%26gt;%26gt;options (top right)%26gt;%26gt;mail options (if available)%26gt;%26gt;general preferences, and check the box ----"save sent items in the Sent folder"----then click "save" at bottom of page.
As for the email you "desperately" need----If it's not in the "Trash"----then I'm afraid it gone forever.
You could always ask the person you sent it to ---to send you a copy of what they received.
Reply:a copy has to be in your sent, draft, outbox or trash. If it is not in any of those boxes it was not sent. Or try pushing the back button on your PC to see if you can get back to it. Hopefully you find it

Definitely do not click, just delete.
'adress' is misspelled, and the wording is funny too...'probably it is'...'stop email sending'.
I've noticed misspellings and funny wording in just about all of the scam emails...I've won the international lottery like 15 times and have had 10 or so wealthy relatives in a foreign country leave me everything!!
These are just some things that I noticed, and things I look for in a somewhat official looking email.
That's my tip for questionable emails! Hope it helps. :)

How to say this in an email?
I was playing at an ultimate Frisbee torniment this weekend. My coach and I get along well we have a jokingly hateful thing going on. Anyway i was messing around and he was with his girlfriend (who is like a sister to me.) he got on my case and was being an ***. I ignored him and now hes really mad.
(I also need to tell him I have his hat.)
I feel really bad because he was someone I really could talk to.
How should I say this in an email?
How to say this in an email?
just tell him how you feel, it doesn't have to be hard you are just over analyzing things. or you could call him or tell him in person, sometimes for me the things i thought would be the hardest things to say in person were actually really easy

There's also an email asking for your yahoo password and other details telling you you need to complete that in order not to have your email account closed down. That's fake too, be careful! Yahoo does not check people's acounts that way.

Wanna know if this email is true or is just a scam?
i recently received an email from
Microsoft Award Team
20 Craven Park, Harlesden
London NW10,United Kingdom.
notifying me that i won one million British money. have any one out there heard of lottery using email addresses? the email specified that it was a lottery conducted by microsoft and aol of great britain. what do you think about this folks? thanks in advance for sharing your thoughts. have a good day!
Wanna know if this email is true or is just a scam?
It's a scam, and a very common one. Don't reply, don't give them any of your personal information, and certainly don't send them any money!
There's no such thing as an e-mail lottery conducted by Microsoft, Yahoo, AOL, MSN, or anybody else.
Reply:It's probably a scam, as Microsoft doesn't announce about something like that.
beside you can check the "from" field to be sure about the mail that sent you these mails.
Reply:TOTAL SCAM! Just go to AOL or Microsoft's websites. If they were awarding a million British pounds, you can bet they'd be announcing it on their official sites. Do a Google news search. A promotion this big is going to get a lot of press. Bet you won't find anything.
Emails like this have been going around for years.
Reply:i have won about a hundred of them, in different lotteries....they are all scams
Reply:Scam, leave well alone...........
Reply:www.snopes.com is a good place to verify rumors and scams. The FBI has a website for you to forward those emails to. One address is if you have been affected and the other is if you haven't.
Reply:I say scam. Also try snopes.com, you can type in a few key words from the email and they'll tell you if they've heard anything and if it's true or false.
Reply:if it's free money, it mostly a scam. no major companies send up emails to you saying you have won monies
Reply:totally fake
Reply:100% scam, I get loads of emails like that, spanish lotteries, british lotteries.... all crap
Reply:Scam...there is are also faxes being faxed out claimng the same thing...among others.

What do you think of email lottery winning? is this a legal undertaking and not a hoax? ?
is there a bank in malaysia called ALLIANCE BANK PLC, MALAYSIA ?
What do you think of email lottery winning? is this a legal undertaking and not a hoax? ?
If you did not play you cannot win,its as simple as that, look carefully at the email it does not even have your name on it so how can it be real.
Reply:No one will EVER contact you via e-mail about winning anything that you didn't enter. No one will EVER e-mail you about money that some obscure distant relative left you. Your bank will NEVER e-mail you about problems with your account.
Way too many scams on the internet these days.
You can read about some pretty common scams on this page: http://www.scambusters.org/

If the answer is no, which is most likely, then how can you win? If you did not enter yourself into this lottery, there is a 100% chance it is a hoax.

I think you'll need to buy that domain name, and then you'll have access to domain-specific email addresses through the company you buy it from.
Reply:You have to contact ISP company and to register your domain name. like www.company.com. then ISP will give you domain name applied by you if available. With this domain name you get no of email ids depending on your choice and. You may host your website on this domain. all these available under 1/2/3/5 years plan and you have to subscribe to it.

Is there a scam behind this type of email?
Ah the devil is in the details. I recently subcribed to a penpal website that seems ok. No wild pics or comeons only people interested in communicating about life. I have gotten some odd responses in that the emails seem a little out of place and they are asking me to reply to another email address outside of this website . I am sending nothing but a email with no personal data to this person. I have seen my share of please send me your bank account emails but these do not appear like those, but I think I may smell a rat but not sure why. Why would someone request me to send an email to an outside account by an forward comeon letter?
Is there a scam behind this type of email?
It could be a spam bot. Ruling that out it could just be someone trying to talk to you. Check the TOS for the site and whether or not your email address is given out. If it is not given out, and you didn't give it out, it may be that the company fowarded your information to an advertiser. The worse that can happen is you get some spam. There are temporary email accounts out now that allow you to create an email that will disappear after a short time.
Best suggestion I can give is to create one of those and identify yourself in some human form that a real person would understand and a bot would not, and explain that you are just checking that it is not a solicitation. This keeps your real e-mail from being marked as "live" if you were to respond using that address. If it is a real person then you can use your real address, since they already know it.
Be careful as bots are getting more sophisticated and may seem very human to some. As always protect your passwords and personal information as if it is your life, because it really is.
Reply:maybe if you send me your bank account i might tell you
Reply:Off hand, I'd say that your "sniffer" is working properly. If there is a desire that you respond to a different email than the one the other party is communicating to you with, drop them, now. It is a trap that you should want nothing to do with.

"I am sorry I bothered you and wrote to you, I know you are busy now. Please forget all the things I have said in the Emails.I promise this is the last email so your not bothered by me,and so you can do your work.I understand if you dont want to show up on Thursday.I am sorry"

Ahh, she sounds like something/someone is REALLY bothering her and is very depressed.
I hate to say: but it even sounds a suicidal....
I think you could call or stop by with a present to check on her.
Reply:This is a person with manners who feels she has intruded on your time and maybe e-mailed a little too much, perhaps was being a little self indulgent. Resulting in becoming a pain in the @@@ to someone who's really busy and would probably get back to her if you were given the chance. I dont know what she said hope it wasnt over interest in you or something crazy. She's also afraid you wont want to spend anytime with her or at her event on Thursday. She's really concerned about your feelings about her at this point.
Reply:Well who sent the e-mail? It sounds like a lost love. And if it was a total stranger block this from your account. Don't be making dates on-line. Hope this helps. Maybe its just a friend who really needs to talk with you. You must know yourself what this means. Was this a friend of yours?
Reply:Did you say or do something to upset her? Mabey she is extremely sensitive and you did something to make her think you hate her and she is a bother to you.
Reply:Means, the writter of email is guessing your reaction to the mail she sent. Her guess might be right and might be wrong and only you can answer.
Reply:she obviously feels guilty over something and(no offense) maybe you said something to her that made her feel bad and so she thinks you dont want to talk to her,

How do I fix this problem: I can't receive email from one sender only?
I recently sent an important email to a friend of mine. Now, when he tries to reply to it, his emails always get forwarded back to him. I'm not sure if or what kind of error message he's getting. Does anyone have any ideas? I can receive email from other people, for example, my mom can send me email from AOL. The person whose emails are getting forwarded is sbcglobal.
How do I fix this problem: I can't receive email from one sender only?
Maybe at one time you marked one of his incoming emails as spam by accident. I've done that. Go to Options from your mail screen, then click Mail Options. Scroll to Blocked Addresses. If that address is on your block list just remove it.

For those of you who tried to boycott this endeavor and wouldn鈥檛 take any tickets, we are moving forth without your participation. .. is our national intercessor and she has embraced many of you, fed you, and even purchased groceries for you, and for you to try and boycott this endeavor is just evil. Both Chief and I want you to know that we are moving forth without your participation concerning this matter. If God sees mother as royalty, then we are going to treat her as royalty; we are going to celebrate her in a royal fashion.
For those of you who have taken tickets to sell, I am requesting that you submit your money for the sale of your tickets to me by March 18th. We have incurred lots of expenses. Many of you have expressed an interest to attend the dinner during the crusade, please let me know if you need tickets
How would you feel if you received an email like this?
I wouldn't understand it, because I don't know what it's relating to. I've emailed you and hope you can help me understand your Q better. Then I can give you a more comprehensive answer. Sorry, but this is just an odd
bit of writing, and until I have other background data to
flesh this out, I'm at a loss here as to how to answer
appropriately.
Blessings and hope to hear in my email soon and then I can edit this answer. :)
EDIT: The short and very easy answer is to just suck it up, and go along with the new program and buy a ticket and be there to show appreciation, and do alot of praying before hand so you can attend with good spirits. Practice forgiveness and let it go as God is watching and knows all about this injustice.
Now for my answer from my heart after some prayerful consideration: You appear to have hit the tip of a very big iceberg and didn't mean to or have any idea you were going to. This is alot more serious than it seems on the surface.
And it is about a much larger issue than an appreciation dinner for your founder. If this is what happens as a result of your idea, then it will happen again around other people's ideas, including the board of the church. And before it 's all over it could be disastrous for your church. I'm not being a negative person here, but this type of situation goes on in churches all over and causes many people to go away from churches and even worse from God.
It appears that your nice idea was taken out of your hands and a group of you appealed what was going on and got rejected and so then decided to boycott the celebration which turned from a simple voluntary lowcost show of appreciation into an expensive production causing divisive feelings within the church. This happens from time to time in churches and is difficult to work out. It has been known to 'split' a church, where one group goes off and starts another church. I'm not suggesting you do this. But this is just an indication of what is to come, so try not to get chewed up in the middle. Especially if you plan on being around for the long haul. Somehow these two groups must reconcile in some way. And it sounds like there are very strong personalities running the covering organization who could stand to grow up and mature in their people-skills. But they are just people too, so try to cut them some slack and be
fore-giving in this situation. WWJD? He'd never have turned an appreciation dinner into a stressful situation. But this is an opportunity for all involved to grow up spiritually a little more if people choose to take the opportunity. Be sure you step aside from the avalanche so you can be there and be of use once the avalanche has stopped it's deadly roll. Do not get caught up in this emotionally, or you will be taken under and get chewed up really badly. You need someone you can lean on during this who is spiritually strong and wise also in the affairs of men and is not involved in your church group, who can listen objectively and offer sound suggestions and keep you held in prayer.
Remember, too, that the church is a gathering place for those who worship together in fellowship. When the fellowship is affected, the whole body of the church suffers, and people put their focus on the distresses instead of on God.
However, this is a great opportunity for personal spiritual growth, as you step into spiritual leadership, which is what you've done here, whether you know it or not. So try to keep spiritual principles above your emotions around this situation.
The main point is that you get to show your appreciation to the founder. And you don't want to foment a cold war within the church, as sometimes occurs around these situations.
Right now there are hurt feelings around this, on both sides - your side, and the organization's side. Your group is now boycotting the celebration that was your idea in the first place.
The organization side wrote an unprofessional and very inciteful email letter. OUCH It could have been worded differently and accomodations could have been made to include the original group - your group - in the festivities. You could still show up (just bring your own food, or eat ahead of time) as a group, peaceful but solid in wanting to show your appreciation as part of the whole church on the night of the banquet. But you all will need to take that into prayer. I don't know how large of a group your group is, or if they have the courage and stamina that it takes to stand up for what they are believing in in a peaceful way that would be an eye-opening demonstration of how love and peace truly do overcome all obstacles. No one would bar you from just the celebration, it's the food that requires the tickets. And this organization needs to put their own money where their mouth is instead of requiring everyone to buy a ticket. Only those intending to eat the meal should have to pay the ticket price. Those who just want to come for the appreciation part should be allowed in. Many churches deal with this kind of thing in this manner. And if that is going to happen during dinner, then you all should be allowed to attend and sit and not eat. Ain't such a big deal really, it's just that this whole thing got out of hand and is now not serving the whole church. If this 'covering organization' really is spiritually aware and connected then this solution should be forthcoming now. It may be a good thing that this is happening in one way, if it opens the eyes of the members to how controlling the 'covering org' is - and you don't have to say anything. Just stick around and time will tell and the event will eventually speak for itself in people's memories. God truly is more than enough in this situation. In case none of this reconciliation will be happening here's something else:
Remember the simple point here: You and your group desired to show this founder how much she's appreciated.
You still can do this and the other celebration can also take place. It's not a perfect solution, but it is a viable and workable one that would touch the heart of your founder.
A huge amount of prayer is needed here, as well as some practical action. Pray for guidance and then pray some more.
Here are some options that may get you thinking:
%26gt;%26gt;Your group could get a really nice card and each person sign it - then include in a separate piece of paper a nice letter of appreciation for all your founder has done for you.
A really nice piece of paper, and either have someone nicely hand letter it if they know how to do that fancy writing stuff, or have it printed off a computer in a really pretty way.
%26gt;%26gt;Your group could invite the founder to someone's house for a potluck supper to go with the card and appreciation letter. This could be prior to March 18. It wouldn't be in a rival type attitude or fashion - it would just be your group's way of showing her what you wanted in the first place. Don't worry about the banquet, keep your group's focus on the original reason. Let others in the church know if you want to offer them an opportunity to come to the pot luck. If you don't want to, then don't put any flyers out. If you are going to do the open invitation then just a simple flyer that says "YOU ARE INVITED to attend an APPRECIATION POT-LUCK on March 7 at 7 pm at Suzi's house. All interested please just come and bring a dish to share (you aren't counting on these people, and so if they show there will be enough food for them too). Looking forward to seeing you there." It doesn't take much to get a potluck going with a group that won't be at the celebration.
%26gt;%26gt;Someone could make up a certificate of appreciation and have it framed or get a nice plaque if you take up a small collection within the group.
%26gt;%26gt;After it's all over, you could have a private meeting with the founder and share your concerns. Write the main points on a piece of paper and let her have that to review and pray about, as to how to reconcile the church body. That would be within the scope of her 'job', and she would have received the appreciation from both groups by this time, so she wouldn't be in the middle of something that would ruin that for her, and yet she can do what she's able to do from the spiritual aspect.
She, of all people would understand all the emotions around this and can be the intercessor between both groups. Because what you describe right now is a church with 'factions' within the group, and that truly is her job and expertise.
I'm really sorry that this happens in churches. But the good news is that you will have matured in spiritual strength when this is all over, and you will have a closer relationship with God through Christ, and you will be wiser and able to help others get through such situations as this. And you will begin to really use your power of discernment in aiding opposing groups to reconcile.
I'm sorry that what was such a lovely and simple and heartfelt idea of yours got removed from you and taken over and turned completely around, and that those involved at the 'higher level' didn't treat you and your group with more honor and respect. But there is a bigger picture here, that none can see just as yet. God will reveal more later. Just love your founder the best you can, try to let the rest go, stay prayed up, and be strong in your faith and stand your ground for your chruch, until God leads you elsewhere.
Blessings and prayers to you :) May your heart be at peace over this. Sorry so long in answering.
